Many of us have elderly family members who have had a recent loss of a spouse, have had a change in health, or another transitional moment in their lives. They are still independent but maybe forgetful or you may simply concerned about their safety.

I want to introduce you to our new “hometech care” service, which uses technology to solve the needs your family requires without the drastic steps of full relocation to a assisted-living or full-time in home care.  You will realize a peace of mind as you receive real-time notification of critical events that did or did not happen.

How does it work? We install a system in the home that can monitor daily activity patterns—without affecting their day-to-day activities or way of living.

This highly flexible home monitoring system that has been tailored to use non-intrusive wireless sensors in the home to detect a change in activity that may signal potential health issues or safety concerns. The best part is the system is really there to capture patterns and actions, allowing privacy and independence to be maintained.

Some examples include:

  • Sensors on the doors can send a notification if a door has been left opened.
  • Automatically have doors lock in the evenings.
  • Oven left on more than 1 hour.
  • Abnormal activities indicating a potential medical issue
  • Alert if medicine cabinet not opened by 10 am.

If any of these, or other custom notification happens, family members (aka the customizable care network) recieve alerts, via email or text message. The system can be combined with a security system with live 24/7 monitoring, to provide additional peace of mind.

In my opinion, this is a great complement to how we add to the care and safety of our family. Let me know if you have any further questions!
