Our Team: Brett Griffin

Brett Griffin
Technology Designer & Founder

As founder and Technology Designer at Architechtronics, Brett brings passion and extensive industry experience, and a keen ability to connect with people to understand their unique home technology desires.

Formally, Brett trained hundreds of installers across the nation in his capacity as Home Automation, Inc (HAI)'s Sales and training Manager. It was through these trainings that Brett found a commonality among many home automation & technology companies. Often they designed systems based on presumptions of the homeowner’s desires without accounting for their lifestyle. Repeatedly, Brett watched as systems were not used to their fullest potential—mitigating the money and effort spent on the home technology system. It was from this observation that Architechtronics was founded with the main goal to assist homeowners in designing technology that fits their lifestyles while maximizing the effectiveness of the technology.

Brett’s additional professional experience includes: a six-year career in the United States Navy as an Advanced Naval Electronic Technician, as well as a Electronics Technician for Alaska Airlines.

Comptia DHTIAs an industry leader, Brett was chosen as a Subject Matter Expert in the creation of the impressive CompTIA Home Automation Certification Exam. This professional certification is an industry standard of technology skills, and is looked on highly industry wide by installers, employers, and manufactures alike. Additionally, Brett has contributed to several articles for industry trade magazines such as Home Technology Products magazine, Lowes for Pros and Internet industry portal, www.hometoys.com

Brett has a strong interest in utilizing technology to enhance energy efficiency in homes. He played a key roll in the 2003 Built Green Home on the Issaquah Plateau.

In his free time, Brett enjoys camping, hiking, bike riding, skiing, eating pizza, piloting small planes and spending time with his wife and family.
