October 1, 2006: Griffin spent the last five days of September in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois with other industry professionals dedicating their expertise for further development of the CompTIA Digital Home Technology Integrator + (CompTIA DHTI+) certification exam. This professional certification of technology skills is targeted at individuals and organizations involved in the home automation industry.
“CEA-CompTIA DHTI+ certification gives the home automation industry some significance, and it brings credibility to the field. It will help home builders and local building regulators recognize that there is a unique set of knowledge required for home technology integration, and best practices that need to be followed.”
Griffin’s industry expertise comes from prior experience as an installer, a sales and training manager for industry-leading HAI, and evolving into founder of Architechtronics where he plans and manages all technology systems (lighting, home theater, networks, etc) in the home. Griffin has strong interests in energy management, zero energy and built green homes.
